"The Princess Diaries" is close to adding more pages to its story.

Anne Hathaway gave fans on an update on a possible "Princess Diaries 3." On Bravo's "Watch What Happens Live," she revealed that there is a script and that co-star Julie Andrews is on board.

"There is a script for the third movie. There is a script,” she said. "I want to do it. Julie [Andrews] wants to do it. Debra Martin Chase, our producer, wants to do it. We all really want it to happen.”

Sadly, original director Garry Marshall died in 2016.

"The Princess Diaries," which follows Mia Thermopolis (Hathaway) as she prepares to become heir to the Genovia throne, under the tutelage of her regal grandmother (Andrews). The 2014 sequel focused on Mia's love life and need to get married.

So, a third film has been a long time coming, and Hathaway said the entire team is committed to making it — but only if it's perfect.

"It’s just we don’t want to unless it’s perfect because we love it just as much as you guys love it,” the Oscar winner said. "It’s as important to us as it is to you, and we don’t want to deliver anything until it’s ready, but we’re working on it."
