Everybody, Backstreet's back--and this time it's with Nsync. Kind of.

Nick Carter and AJ McLean of Backstreet Boys, along with Nsync's Joey Fatone are appearing in the forthcoming Syfy movie "Dead 7."

The pop singers will star in the Western zombie apocalypse horror flick that follows "a ragtag band of gunslingers who must rid a small town of a zombie plague in a post-apocalyptic West," according to a press release from Asylum -- the schlock masters behind Syfy's "Sharknado" series. "Carter will play Jack, the reluctant hero who unites the outlaws to face the zombie menace."

Carter, 35, has taken to Twitter to campaign for fellow singers to join in on the project, including One Direction's Niall Hornan, 21, whom he asked on Sunday to play his younger brother. Perhaps Carter's real-life younger brother Aaron Carter, 27, lands second on that short list.

The '90s heartthrob also tried to corral Spice Girls singer Mel B, asking via Twitter if the "America's Got Talent" host would be interested in "killing zombies and saving the world."
