9 Holiday TV Movies So Bad That You Have to Watch Them
It's that time of year again! Holiday TV movies are here to spread joy with their downright ridiculous storylines. Here are nine standouts that are so bad, you can't look away.
'Hats Off to Christmas!' (2013)
A manager of what sounds like a very lucrative, small independent business -- a Christmas hat shop -- is shocked when her boss asks her to train his son for a job she hoped to get. Hijinks and love ensue.
'Like Father, Like Santa' (1998)
An evil toy tycoon -- which is the best kind of evil tycoon! -- heads to the North Pole to check out his biggest competition. That would be Santa, which should have been obvious to you. Harry Hamlin stars, so you know it's gonna be a good one.
'Snow Globe' (2007)
Everyone's favorite actress, Christina Milian, stars as a lady trapped in a magical Christmas-themed snow globe. Actually, Christina Milian is a lovely singer and a great performer. And did you know she helped write "Baby" by Justin Bieber? Now you do!
'Help for the Holidays' (2012)
Here's one for the whole family. In this magical masterpiece, a hot elf (played by Summer Glau) heads to LA to assist a family that is lacking some much needed Christmas spirit.
'Snow 2: Brain Freeze' (2008)
I know you were wondering, but no, you do NOT have to see the first "Snow" to enjoy this delightful ABC Family classic, which stars Tom Cavanagh of "Ed" fame. Here, he plays a Santa with amnesia (because reasons) whose wife and reindeer are left to help him save Christmas.
'A Boyfriend For Christmas' (2004)
Holly (of course that's her name) told a mall Santa Claus that she wanted a boyfriend for Christmas when she was 13-years-old. It's a Hallmark movie, so said perfect boyfriend shows up 23 years later -- and chaos/romance/holiday wackiness obviously happens.
'The Christmas Consultant' (2012)
Who better to help two suburban workaholics plan for the holidays then an over-zealous bow-tied "Christmas consultant" (that's a job in Lifetime movies) played by David Hasselhoff?
'A Grandpa For Christmas' (2007)
Bert (played by the late Ernest Borgnine) is a retired singer/actor who forms a bond with his estranged nine-year-granddaughter-in-need -- just in time for the holidays.
'Holiday Spin' (2012)
The premiere TV dancer of our time, Ralph Macchio, tries to save his failing dance studio by winning an annual competition. Don't all dance movies have an annual competition in them? Whatever. This is great.
