It's hard to believe that Bill Murray has never attended Comic-Con International, but the deadpan comedic genius has finally arrived.

The 64-year-old lit up social media Thursday by arriving at the San Diego convention's Hall H auditorium in character to promote "Rock the Kasbah" (in theaters Oct. 23), in which he stars as a has-been music manager who finds a promising client in Afghanistan.

The funnyman gabbed on topics like his favorite role, "Well once upon a time I did save New York..." he said, referring to "Ghostbusters." And he proved that you're never too old to like the queen of twerk. "Miley Cyrus is really f—in good," he told the crowd.

Among, the delighted observers, one shared video of his entrance, writing, "Bill Murray enters Hall H like a boss!" And starstruck Jennifer Lawrence appeared to geek out and posed for photos with Murray while they waited outside an expo entrance ahead of her "The Hunger Games" panel.
