"Jack Ryan" actor John Hoogenakker is joining another exciting TV series. He's set for a role in Hulu's "Castle Rock."

Hoogenakker is joining the show in Season 2 as "a man with a complicated connection to [Annie] Wilkes," Deadline reports. In the upcoming season, Wilkes's (Lizzy Kaplan) time in the town of Castle Rock will add fuel to an already fiery situation involving a feud between clans. The psychological horror series was renewed for its second season in August.

Hoogenakker's schedule will still allow for him to appear in the next chapter of Amazon's "Jack Ryan." In fact, he'll have a bigger role in Season 2. His gig as Matice, a Black Ops CIA operative, was recurring in Season 1, but Hoogenakker has since been promoted to series regular, as Deadline reported in May.

"Castle Rock" will continue its story in the Stephen King multiverse when it returns. The show comes from King and J.J. Abrams.
