Now former "Friends From College" star Cobie Smulders is moving on to her next TV project. She is set to star in the ABC drama pilot "Stumptown," Variety reports.

The project is based on Greg Rucka's "Stumptown" graphic novels, and Jason Richman will pen the pilot. The story centers on Dex Parios (Smulders), a soldier-turned-private investigator living in Portland, Oregon. She's described as having a "complicated personal history" and being better at solving other people's problems than her own.

Smulders is still best known for her nine-year stint as Robin on CBS's "How I Met Your Mother," but she has had plenty of other roles as well. Her more recent TV credits include "Friends From College," "A Series of Unfortunate Events," and "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." She has also appeared in multiple MCU films, among others.

"Stumptown" comes from ABC Studios, with Richman, Rucka, Matthew Southworth, Justin Greenwood, and The District's Ruben Fleischer and Dave Bernad on board to executive produce.
