A new face has been added to the "Dollface" cast.

Shay Mitchell has landed a main role in the upcoming Hulu comedy series after a recasting, Deadline reports. The "You" actress takes over a part that was previously nabbed by Lex Scott Davis. Mitchell will now star alongside Kat Dennings and Brenda Song.

The series is written by Jordan Weiss and centers on a woman (Dennings) who let her female friendships fall by the wayside during a long-term relationship. After being dumped by her boyfriend, she sets out to rekindle those friendships. Mitchell and Song play college friends Stella and Madison, respectively.

Mitchell's film credits include "The Possession of Hannah Grace," "Mother's Day," "Dreamland," and more. On the TV side, this is Mitchell's first lead role in a comedy series, as Deadline points out. Both "You" and her previous show, "Pretty Little Liars" were thrillers, so "Dollface" will take her in a much lighter direction.

"Dollface" comes from ABC Signature Studios. LuckyChap Entertainment's Margot Robbie and Brett Hedblom serve as producers alongside Clubhouse Pictures' Bryan Unkeless and Scott Morgan.
