Girl Scout cookie season is arguably the best time of the year, and it brought us extra joy on Wednesday when "The Late Show."

The "Atlanta" creator and star was a guest on the show, giving host Stephen Colbert the perfect opportunity to introduce Glover to an enterprising Girl Scout named Charity Joy who had used his Childish Gambino song "Redbone" in a video advertising her cookies. She changed the lyrics to gems like "Thin mints, you wanna order some before it's too late. We also got Trefoils and they taste great." Glover had seen the video and was "touched" by it, he told Colbert.

"It's beautiful," Glover said, "but it's also crazy to me. ... I never was like, 'I'll make this and then one day a little girl will sell Girl Scout cookies to it.'"

Colbert gave Glover the chance to buy cookies straight from Charity Joy. Both she and her father came out to meet Glover, who wasted no time in looking at the cookie catalog. When he saw that Charity Joy's cookie goal was 113 more boxes, he told her he'd buy them all, making her very happy.

Watch the successful cookie sale, starting at 7:25.

"The Late Show with Stephen Colbert" airs weeknights at 11:35 p.m. ET/PT on CBS.
