All the alien things!

Tom DeLonge, who used to play guitar for Blink-182 guitarist and is -- who knew -- a major UFOlogist, is executive-producing a new History Channel mini-series about the government’s secret UFO program. "Unidentified: Inside America’s UFO Investigation" will premiere in May.

The focus of the show is Luis Elizondo, the former military intelligence official who was in charge of the Pentagon’s Advanced Aerospace Threat Identification Program until it was closed down in 2012.

Elizondo was one of the primary sources for The New York Times’ 2017 report about AATIP , which the press release refers to as "a stunning front-page exposé about the Pentagon’s mysterious UFO program."

After he retired from the Pentagon, Elizondo joined DeLonge’s To the Stars Academy.  DeLonge founded the group in 2015 to enable researchers to explore the “outer edges of science” and technology.

According to the release, "Unidentified" will "expose a series of startling encounters and embark on fascinating new investigations that will urge the public to ask questions and look for answers."

DeLonge said, "With this show, the real conversation can finally begin. I’m thankful to History for giving the To The Stars Academy team of world-class scientists, engineers and intelligence experts the opportunity to tell the story in a comprehensive and compelling way.  I think everyone that watches the show will walk away with questions answered and a feeling of, 'Wow, I get it now.'"

DeLonge, who was a founding member of Blink-182, left the band in 2015. He's still the lead singer of the supergroup Angels & Airwaves.
