Hulu's new Marvel series "Ghost Rider" has a familiar actor in the titular role.

Gabriel Luna is set to star as Robbie Reyes (aka Ghost Rider), Variety reports. Although fans may recognize the actor from when he played the character on the ABC series of "Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.," Variety's sources indicate that the shows and storylines are not connected. Ingrid Escajeda is the Hulu series' showrunner, and she, Paul Zbyszewski, and Marvel's Jeph Loeb are executive producing.

Ghost Rider is one of Marvel's antiheroes who debuted in the comic book anthology series "Marvel Spotlight." He later got his own series and has since been brought to screen. Luna played the character for 10 episodes in "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." Season 4 and earned himself a Teen Choice Award nomination for his work.

The actor's other recent credits include stints on the TV series "Wicked City," "True Detective," and "Matador." He has also appeared in the films "Hala" and "Transpecos." Additionally, we'll see him as T-1000 in the upcoming "Terminator: Dark Fate."

Hulu's "Ghost Rider" is expected to debut in 2020.
