This marks the first year that Pixar will release two films, but while we've seen a lot of "Inside Out" (in theaters June 19), we've hardly gotten a glimpse at "The Good Dinosaur," coming this fall.

Well, finally, Pixar has released a teaser trailer (to Yahoo Movies). It's brief, as most teasers are — barely longer than a minute — and shows very little of the actual movie. An asteroid hurtles through space, seemingly on a crash course with Earth ... until it misses. Down on the planet, a group of dinosaurs peer curiously at the distant meteor, then resume their normal activities.

The premise of the movie is that a young dinosaur named Arlo embarks on a journey after a traumatic family event with an unlikely companion — a human boy. "The Good Dinosaur" has a turbulent history — it's been in the works for years, and has switched directors. Then again, that's kind of par for the course with Pixar.

"The Good Dinosaur" opens in theaters November 25.
