The "Grey's Anatomy" Season 15 premiere is still a few days away, so if you're struggling to get through the wait, some insight from seasons past may help.

Camilla Luddington (Dr. Jo Wilson) recently chatted with Entertainment Weekly about a key scene from Season 14, and she shared a fun tidbit about how she got ready for it. The scene in question is the one in which she faces off with her abusive ex-husband, a fellow doctor played by Matthew Morrison. Because the actor was "so likable," Luddington said she had to make sure she stayed away from him.

"I would've loved to have gotten to know him more, but I knew that we had to have a certain chemistry and I didn't want to become almost too familiar with him," she said. "It helped to hate him. He's so likable that it meant that I had to separate myself."

Although Luddington may have enjoyed spending more time with Morrison, it's good for Jo that his character wasn't around longer. She got the chance to repair her relationship with Dr. Alex Karev (Justin Chambers), and the two tied the knot in the finale. They'll be returning from their honeymoon as Season 15 picks up, and they'll find newcomers at the hospital. Luddington previously told Us Weekly that "there is drama that happens right off the bat" and that "this season's really fun."

The wait isn't too much longer now. The two-hour "Grey's Anatomy" Season 15 premiere is set for Thursday, Sept. 27 at 8 p.m. ET/PT on ABC.
