The characters of "Grey's Anatomy" are juggling multiple secrets in Season 13, and "a couple long-coming truths" will be revealed in the 2016 winter finale.

Giacomo Gianniotti (DeLuca) and Jerrika Hinton (Stephanie) previously teased that the Alex and DeLuca storyline would reach a "fever pitch" in the midseason finale, and now we have even more intriguing teases on the episode, which will air Thursday, November 17.

Here's what ABC released about Episode 9, called "You Haven't Done Nothin'":

ALEX MAKES A BIG DECISION THAT COULD HAVE LIFE-CHANGING CONSEQUENCES, ON THE WINTER FINALE OF ABC'S 'GREY'S ANATOMY'

Believing he is going to jail tomorrow, Alex makes a big decision about his future. While the hospital is overrun with victims of a building collapse, Richard demands answers from Bailey about Eliza's presence at Grey Sloan, on the winter finale of "Grey's Anatomy."

So we know that Alex will at least think he's headed to jail the next day, so does that mean he's convicted of assault in the court trial? Does he considering bailing? Does something happen at the last minute to change his fate for the better?

By the way, the "Eliza" of the synopsis is Eliza Minnick (Marika Dominczyk), described as "a new consultant who puts all of the doctors on edge, especially once she starts stepping on toes in the OR." We'll first see her this Thursday, November 3 in Episode 7.

Entertainment Weekly asked Hinton, Gianniotti, and co-stars Kelly McCreary (Maggie) and Jason George (Ben) to describe the midseason finale in one word, and here's what they said:

McCreary: "Rubble."

Hinton: "Complicated."

George: "Justice."

Justice is an interesting answer, and the interpretation could go in either direction.

Gianniotti shared more than one word, and teased some secrets coming out: "There are certainly a couple long-coming truths that are revealed."

Will Amelia reveal her tragic past to Owen? Will Jo reveal her own dark past to Alex, or will DeLuca end up revealing it? Will the Meredith/Maggie/Riggs situation come to a head? Will Richard get fired by his own wife?

Answers will be here soon, and then we'll be left with more questions until the 2017 return.

"Grey's Anatomy" Season 13 airs Thursdays at 8 p.m. on ABC.
