"Glee" is gone, but not forgotten. The show's creator, Ryan Murphy, is looking to make another musical TV series with "Glee" guest star Gwyneth Paltrow.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, the project is titled "One Hit Wonders," and it originally started out as a movie with Paltrow, Reese Witherspoon, and Cameron Diaz starring as has-been singers who each had a hit single in the '90s and are trying to form a supergroup to stay relevant.

The rights were bought by Sony, but reverted back to Murphy after the exit of studio head Amy Pascal. Now, he's looking to bring it to the small screen as — what else? — an anthology series. Murphy has four seasons already planned; Paltrow would only appear in the first season.

The GOOP mogul will play a 40-year-old woman who's "broke, exhausted and the victim of cat-fishing by her roommate." She gets a call from a record label to join a supergroup with two other singers like herself, and the trio ends up taking off and becoming an inspiration to women everywhere. The show will feature original music.

But may we suggest a change to the title, to keep in line with Murphy's other projects? How does "American Singer Story: One Hit Wonders" sound, Ryan?
