Chris Pine and Ben Foster are not waiting until hell nor high water to reunite with director David Mackenzie.

Pine and Foster starred in the Oscar-nominated "Hell or High Water," under Mackenzie's eyes. Now, they may be in for a reunion, as all three are in talks for a Netflix period epic called "Outlaw King."

The film tells the story of Robert the Bruce (aka Robert I), the King of Scots who led his country to freedom from England in the early 14th century. Pine would play Robert, while Foster would be the king's right-hand man, James Douglas.

In "Hell or High Water," the actors played brothers who engage in a series of bank heists around Texas to stop their ranch from being foreclosed. While "Outlaw King" would be set in a very different time and place, it sounds like it also focuses on mavericks willing to break rules to achieve independence. And with the accolades that "Hell or High Water" received, it's little wonder that the three men would want to team up to try to recapture that magic.
