"Inside Out" sparkled over the five-day Independence Day weekend box office, overtaking "Jurassic World" and topping newcomers "Terminator: Genisys" and "Magic Mike XXL," according to Sunday's estimates.

The Disney-Pixar animated comedy voiced by Amy Poehler, Bill Hader, Mindy Kaling, Lewis Black and Phyllis Smith collected another $45.3 million in the United States since Wednesday, edging out "Jurassic World" with $43.8 million, to bring its total to $246.2 million.

"Jurassic World," starring Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard and a host of CGI dinosaurs, has nothing to worry about, however, as it became the fourth-highest grossing movie in the U.S. of all time with $568.2 million.

The future of the "Terminator" franchise, however, remained in doubt as "Genisys," bringing back Arnold Schwarzenegger, grossed $44.2 million over the five days, below estimates for the $155 million-budgeted film, though overseas business is expected to be strong.

Also fizzling domestically, after a strong start Wednesday, was the male stripper sequel "Magic Mike XXL" with $27 million. Nearly all the ticket-buyers -- an estimated 96 percent -- were women for the Channing Tatum-starring film, and while the grosses fell short of estimates, the movie will shake out fine since it had a budget of only about $15 million.
