Jennifer Lawrence made a special stop when she returned to her hometown of Louisville, Kentucky this Christmas: A local children's hospital, where she helped spread some holiday cheer.

The Oscar winner took time out of her holiday weekend to visit Norton Children's Hospital on Sunday, where the actress posed for photos and shared smiles and hugs with patients, their families, and the hospital staff.

"This visit has become a tradition for Lawrence each Christmas," the hospital noted in an Instagram post, adding, "Thank you, Jennifer! You sure do bring a smile to all!"

According to ABC News, this is at least the fifth time that the actress has visited Norton Children's during the holiday season. Lawrence is a huge supporter of the facility, having previously donated $2 million to establish the Jennifer Lawrence Foundation Cardiac Intensive Care Unit there.

"My family and I have met so many wonderful children on our visits to the hospital," the actress said in a statement at the time of her 2016 donation. "Their strength and courage is inspiring."

Cheers to Lawrence for using her platform to give back, and here's hoping her visit helped brighten the days of the children and families she met.
