Netflix's upcoming sci-fi family drama "Raising Dion," which stars and is produced by Michael B. Jordan, unveiled a set of first look photos.

The streaming service also announced the show's premiere date: October 5.

"Raising Dion" follows a woman named Nicole (Alisha Wainwright), who is raising her son Dion (Ja’Siah Young) after the mysterious death of her scientist husband (Jordan). Then, Dion starts to manifest several mysterious, superhero-like abilities, and Nicole must keep her son’s gifts secret with the help of friend Pat (Jason Ritter). Together, they work to protect Dion from antagonists out to exploit him while figuring out the origin of his abilities.

The show is based on the comic book by Dennis Liu and comes from showrunner Carol Barbee.
