You did it, Sensates! See what can happen when you keep fighting for what you want?

On June 1, Netflix canceled "Sense8" after two seasons, and the fan outcry was fierce. Viewers wanted -- no, demanded -- closure. Netflix felt compelled to address the backlash, saying they still had to cancel the series, there was nothing they could do, etc. Well, that pleased no one. The outcry continued on social media.

Until now. Netflix is bringing "Sense8" back for a two-hour special in 2018, as announced by Netflix via a letter from co-creator Lana Wachowski.

"It is my great pleasure as well as Netflix's (believe me, they love the show as much as we do but the numbers have always been challenging) to announce that there will be another two hour special released next year. After that... if this experience has taught me anything, you NEVER know."
