Syfy followed HBO in tapping George R.R. Martin and his creative mind for a series, and the result looks like it will be pretty darn creepy, based on the latest teaser.

The author we have to thank for "Game of Thrones" is executive producing another series, and this one looks particularly frightening. Based on Martin's 1980 novella and 1985 short story collection -- both of which are also titled "Nightflyers" -- the show is of the horror genre. That should surprise no one who has seen the latest teaser; the video clocks in below the 30-second mark and shares very little about the plot, but it dials up the suspense.

"You can't escape what's inside," it teases.

"Nightflyers" centers on a group of scientists and a telepath who are traveling the solar system together when their expedition to find an alien creature is made dangerous and horrifying by the ship's computer. The series stars Gretchen Mol, Eoin Macken, David Ajala, Sam Strike, Maya Eshet, Angus Sampson, Jodie Turner-Smith, Brian F. O'Byrne, and Phillip Rhys.
