The trailer for the mob drama "The Kitchen" is here, so it's time to meet some new mob wives.

The film stars Melissa McCarthy, Tiffany Haddish, and Elisabeth Moss as 1970s housewives whose mobster husbands wind up in prison. With the men locked up, they find themselves in a difficult position. The trailer shows them struggling until they decide to "go to war," so to speak.

The three women take charge and soon have Hell's Kitchen in hand. It turns out they're "unexpectedly adept at everything from running the rackets to taking out the competition," as the film's description says. We certainly see that in the preview.

"Just to be clear, now we run this neighborhood," says Kathy (McCarthy).

McCarthy, Haddish, and Moss star alongside Domhnall Gleeson, James Badge Dale, Brian d'Arcy James, Margo Martindale, Common, and Bill Camp. The film is directed by Andrea Berloff, who also wrote the script, based on Ollie Masters and Ming Doyle's DC Vertigo comic book series.

"The Kitchen" opens Aug. 9.
