JD McCrary joined older Simba Donald Glover to sing (soooo well) at the 2018 Grammy Awards.

Glover, aka Childish Gambino, performed "Terrified" at the Grammys Sunday night. Toward the end of his song, a young man joined him on stage and brought the house down. That was 10-year-old JD McCrary, who sings on the "Terrified" track, and also stars in Disney's upcoming live-action "The Lion King" movie along with Glover.

JD McCrary plays Young Simba, who just can't wait to be king, with Donald Glover as grown Simba. The movie also stars Beyoncé as Nala, Chiwetel Ejiofor as Scar, and James Earl Jones back as Mufasa.

McCrary has already had roles on "K.C. Undercover," "Blunt Talk," and "The Paynes." In December 2017, his performance of The Jackson 5's "Who's Lovin' You" during a Los Angeles Clippers game put him in the spotlight. What a voice! We're looking forward to seeing, and hearing, more from McCrary in the future.

"The Lion King" is scheduled to open July 19th, 2019.
