A friend (Father Gabriel) is missing and some new friends (or foes?) may be found in "The Walking Dead" Season 7, Episode 10.

Episode 9, "Rock in the Road," just aired with the AMC synopsis "Rick is introduced to a new community." Well, the next episode seems to be of the same mind, even if they mean a different community. The title of Sunday, Feb. 19's Episode 10 is "New Best Friends," with this synopsis:

"While searching for a missing Alexandrian, Rick and his group encounter a mysterious collective, its inhabitants unlike any they have come across."

The "mysterious collective" appears to be the group teased at the end of Episode 9:

Here's the promo for Episode 10:

Here's a sneak peek scene showing more of the new group (there are so many of them!):

And here's the other sneak peek, set in the Kingdom, which aired on "Talking Dead":

Zap2it's TV Listings added title/synopses details for Episode 11, "Hostiles and Calamities" (sounds like that will take us into the Sanctuary to see how Eugene is doing); Episode 12, "Say Yes"; and Episode 13, "Bury Me Here."

AMC also posted a video with showrunner Scott Gimple breaking down the "New Worlds" of Season 7:We know that the second half will show Rick Grimes (Andrew Lincoln) and company "rise up" against Negan (Jeffrey Dean Morgan) and the Saviors, which is easier said than done. Our group has to convince the other communities to step up, despite the inevitability of violence and lost lives.

In addition to "preparing for war," AMC's Season 7B synopsis promised the following:

"...We'll meet new survivors in incredible places. We'll see Rick and the group tested in ways we've never seen before. We'll see treachery from people we trust. Rick is confident as he will see his group and many others band together with the common goal of taking down Negan. But no amount of planning will prepare the group for all-out war with Negan and his army."

"The Walking Dead" Season 7 airs Sundays at 9 p.m. on AMC.
