Although "Timeless" is set to end once and for all, the stars of the show have a lot to be grateful for -- namely, their fans.

NBC canceled the time travel series for the second time in late June, but fans didn't give up hope. Having saved the show once before, they launched a campaign to keep the story going. And now that they've at least partially gotten their wish in the form of a two-part finale, the show's stars are sending them their thanks.

Several of the "Timeless" cast members made sure to share their love for the fan base (aka "Clockblockers") on Twitter after news of the finale broke. Among them were Abigail Spencer, Matt Lanter, and Malcolm Barrett.

Others involved in the show were thrilled to celebrate the news as well, including its co-creator Eric Kripke and the series' writers.

Fans have good reason to celebrate. "Timeless" might not be getting another season, but at least its major unanswered questions will be resolved. Better still, Clockblockers are getting a chance to say goodbye.

The two-part "Timeless" series finale does not yet have an air date.
