'Timeless' Two-Hour Finale Movie Finally Has an Airdate
Mark your calendars, ClockBlockers: "Timeless" is returning for a two-hour finale movie this December. Filming starts in October.
The "Timeless" writers just shared the scoop in a series of tweets. "Timeless" was canceled by NBC for a second time earlier this year. But also for a second time, it was revived.
This revival is just meant to give closure to the Season 2 cliffhanger. It really would've been cruel to leave Rufus' (Malcolm Barrett) fate hanging like that, with Lucy (Abigail Spencer) and Wyatt (Matt Lanter) traveling back in time to try and save him.
Still, fans are hoping this wrap-up movie leads to a Season 3 pickup, either at NBC or somewhere else. After all, speaking up worked two times before, and we all know the third time is the charm!
Here's the scoop, for now, from the "Timeless" writers:
December is an entire month, and the movie probably won't take all 31 days. (Although it would be fun if NBC played "Timeless" episodes all month.) So stay tuned for a more specific air date on NBC.
