At a loss for what to watch this week? From new DVDs and Blu-rays, to what's streaming on Netflix, we've got you covered.

NEW VIDEO ON DEMAND, STREAMING, AND DIGITAL

'Halloween' (December 28)

Forty years after John Carpenter's 1978 horror classic, Jamie Lee Curtis returns to her iconic role as Laurie Strode. Director David Gordon Green ignores all of the other films in the franchise and makes this a direct sequel to the original. Laurie, still haunted by her traumatic experience with Michael Myers, faces the serial killer once again. And this time, she's ready to fight back. Available on Digital HD on December 28.

'The Oath' (December 28)

And you thought your family's holiday gathering was dysfunctional. This dark comedy pits family members against each other when political disagreements erupt during Thanksgiving dinner. Ike Barinholtz ("Mindy Project") wrote and directed this project, which also stars Tiffany Haddish. Available on Digital HD on December 28.

'Goosebumps 2: Haunted Halloween' (December 25)

The sequel to the family-friendly horror movie brings back all the zany mischief and gentle scares of the original. There isn't much of a plot, but kids won't mind that much. Available on Digital HD on December 25.

NEW ON DVD AND BLU-RAY

'White Boy Rick' (December 25)

Based on a true story, this gritty drama follows a teen boy (Richie Merritt) who becomes an informant for the FBI to keep his struggling father (Matthew McConaughey) out of prison. But when the teen later turns into a drug dealer, he's dropped by his government handlers and lands into major legal trouble.

The movie arrives on DVD and Blu-ray December 25 (and is already available on Digital HD).

NEW ON NETFLIX

'Avengers: Infinity War' (December 25)

Marvel's mega blockbuster comes to streaming, so if you somehow didn't see it, now's the time (or settle in for a rewatch). The good guys battle against Thanos, who's seeking to unite the Infinity Stones and use them to devastating effect across the universe.
