Chaos erupts when a singer in a Take That tribute band is found dead in the Hotel Ahora pool. Former detective Dennis and his crime-obsessed barmaid Rosa investigate the murder, which is complicated by a prior lovers' quarrel.

At the Laughter Lounge, Frank Mann hosts faded game-show star Vince Starky, whose comeback could save debt-ridden owner Ziggy. When doorman Paco finds a rooftop corpse, Dennis uncovers suspicious clues and Rosa unearths grudges, debts and secrets. Can they persuade reluctant Maria that the killer is hiding in plain sight?
