2. The Black Adder: The Wars of the Roses
The stories went off the grid when they created Richard IV who killed Richard III at Bosworth Field. They created the stories, not from history, but from comedic minds.
3. Blackadder Goes Forth & the First World War
Stories about how they had to treat WW1 with respect and dignity and how Rowan Atkinson got so many letters of thanks from families whose relatives were in the Great War. The humour was in the trenches, not in the battles.
4. Blackadder the Third & the Regency
Because there were four George's in succession, Tony explains that no one remembers anything about them and it is a dark period in history due to the confusion about who did what.
