Following the events of the first season, the narrative splits into two major focal points: the fight over the late Haj El Bahi's extensive estate and assets, and the race to capture political leadership of the Dar El Ghezlane village. The political arena becomes completely dominated by three central women—Karima (Haj El Bahi’s headstrong daughter), Amina (the ruthless, domineering wife of Ismail), and Dawya (the former maid tied to family secrets).
Anis, a freshly graduated young doctor from Casablanca, arrives in the small northern rural village of Dar El Ghezlane. He takes up a position at the local medical dispensary to earn and save enough money to fund his dream of studying abroad. Haj El Bahi's daughter, Karima, is highly independent, sharp-tongued, and well-educated. Her rebellious political viewpoints and stubborn nature create friction, threatening to sabotage her father's election prospects. To control Karima and mitigate the public relations risk, Haj El Bahi begins actively scheming to find a suitable groom to marry her off quickly.
