Mahadev returns to his God state
The spirit of Sati appears before Lord Shiva and asks him to return to his Godly state and do what he must for them to be reunited. Nandi is overwhelmed as Lord Shiva once again becomes God. Egged on by Tarakasur, Dudumbhi torments Rishi Dadhichi. Will Shiva come to his recue?

Shiva sets up the Shakti Peetha
Lord Shiva assumes the form of Kalbhairav, defeats the asuras and blesses Rishi Dadhichi. The two of them establish a Shakti Peetha in one of the places where Sati’s remains have fallen; that is Kashi. Tarakasur commands the Earth to swallow up the other remains, or ‘pind’ of Shakti.

Shiva rejoices at seeing Sati
When the Earth refuses to obey Tarakasur and destroy Sati’s remains, he threatens to demolish the Planet. Failing to stop Tarakasur, Shukracharya asks the Earth to send Sati’s remains to Lord Shiva. He rejoices at seeing Sati in front of him. But Tarakasur’s attack on Earth seems unstoppable.

Mahadev saves the Earth
Adi Shakti urges Mahadev to act against Tarakasur and protect the universe from him. Mahadev summons his powers and saves the earth from destruction. Meanwhile, he finds out that two parts of Sati’s ‘pind’ are missing. Tarakasur is bent on destroying them.

Shakti Peethas are established
Vidyunmali fights with Him Naresh to destroy the ‘pind’ that he is protecting. Shiva arrives there and Vidyunmali runs away. Shiva establishes all the Shakti Peethas. Rishi Markandeya predicts that Ganga, the daughter of Him Naresh and Menavati, will join Mahadev sometime.

Brahma's request to Ganga
Tarakasur plots to destroy the purity of the heavens. Brahma meets Him Naresh and asks him to send Ganga to heaven so it can be purified. Lord Vishnu tells Lakshmi that Adi Shakti will be born as the daughter of Him Naresh and Menavati.

Adi Shakti is born
Indra asks Ganga the reason for her sadness and she tells him that she wishes to marry Mahadev. Indra, in turn, reveals to Ganga the facts about the birth of Adi Shakti. The other half of Shiva is born as the daughter of Him Naresh and Menavati. Tarakasur learns this and sends Bahurupa to destroy the child.

Adi Shakti is named Parvati
Bahurupa, who sets out to kill Adi Shakti, is redeemed from a curse by the Goddess. Rishi Markandeya takes the child back to Menavati. Narad Muni christens this avatar of Adi Shakti as Parvati. Rishi Markandeya removes Menavati’s doubts about the glory and powers of Mahadev.

Parvati plays the damru
Him Naresh goes to war, leaving Parvati and Menavati in Rishi Dadhichi’s ashram. Tarakasur sends out spies to find Parvati and is angry when he fails to get any information. Menavati and Rishi Dadhichi are surprised to see Parvati play the damru that is Shiva’s favoured instrument. What could it mean?

Tarakasur plots to kill Parvati
Menavati scolds Parvati for her actions. Rishi Dadhichi gives the little girl a Shiva idol and asks her to worship the Lord. Tarakasur learns where Parvati is and sends out his men to kill her. Parvati prays to Shiva. Will he come to her rescue?

Menavati becomes unconscious
Menavati is worried for Parvati’s safety and wants to take her to another place. Menavati then falls and becomes unconscious. Rishi Markandeya reveals the Mrityunjaya Mantra and his own story to Parvati. The young girl prays to Shiva to save her mother.

Parvati’s prayers save Menavati
Menavati is saved by Parvati’s prayers and tells her daughter that she will not come in the way of her devotion to Shiva. When Rishi Dadhichi tells Him Naresh that Parvati will wed Shiva, the king refuses to accept it and says she is promised to someone else. Can Narad Muni convince Him Naresh to change his mind?

Him Naresh meets Daksh in Kashi
Him Naresh takes Parvati to Kashi. There, they meet Daksh and Prasuti. Daksh tells Him Naresh not to repeat the mistakes he made. Menavati and Him Naresh are shocked to see what their young daughter does next.

Parvati meets Sati
Menavati scolds Parvati for dancing in the graveyard. Parvati is shocked when her mother says that she will not allow her and Shiva to be joined as long as she is alive. When Parvati goes to throw away the damru, she encounters Sati.

Parvati listens to Sati
After meeting Sati, Parvati tells her mother that she will respect and obey the sentiments of her parents. Him Naresh and his family return to their kingdom. Meanwhile, in heaven, the gods decide it is time to awaken Mahadev from his yoga state.

Parvati learns cooking
Menavati teaches Parvati various feminine skills such as cooking and is amazed to see how talented she is. In heaven, Lord Brahma, Vishnu and Lakshmi discuss how Shiva and Parvati will come together. Parvati comes of age.

Menavati enlightens Parvati
Jaya informs Parvati that she will marry the Vindhyachal prince. Menavati and Him Naresh want Parvati to abandon her devotion to Mahadev. Meanwhile, Lord Vishnu predicts that Parvati will gain Mahadev's love.

Menavati's advice
Lord Vishnu appears before Him Naresh and informs him that Parvati is destined to marry Lord Shiva. He persuades the king to remove any obstacles in their way. Meanwhile, Menavati convinces Parvati not to marry Shiva.

Parvati's decision upsets Naresh
Menavati wants Parvati to marry Rajkumar Dandak and urges her to give up her feelings for Mahadev. Parvati vows to obey her wishes. Naresh is upset with Parvati’s decision and persuades her to devote herself to Mahadev.

Dadhichi enlightens Parvati
Lord Vishnu sends Rishi Dadhichi to inform Parvati about Mahadev. Dadhichi helps Parvati awaken her devotion for Mahadev and gives her Bel Patra in order to meet him. Meanwhile, Tarakasur tries to attack Shukracharya.

Parvati pleads Mahadev
Parvati crosses obstacles to meet Lord Shiva on Dadhichi’s instructions. She pleads Lord Shiva to teach her how to become a good wife to him.

Indradev's order
Sati’s sisters give Lord Shiva’s rudraksh and veena to Parvati so that Lord Shiva can recognise her. To help Parvati, Indradev assigns Kamdev to break Lord Shiva’s meditation.

Kamdev helps Parvati
Sati’s sisters groom Parvati like a bride. Parvati makes a wish in Nandi’s ears that Lord Shiva accepts her as his wife. Kamdev helps Parvati by giving his arrow to break Lord Shiva’s meditation.

Mahadev is angry
An angry Mahadev burns Kamdev with his trinetra for interrupting his meditation. Devi Rati is upset about Kamdev’s death. Lord Vishnu tries to convince Mahadev to accept Parvati’s love but he rejects the proposal.

Rati curses Parvati
Rati blames Parvati for Kamdev’s death and curses her with infertility. Lord Vishnu persuades her to remove the curse. Menavati finds out that Parvati has gone to meet Lord Shiva but Parvati promises she will not do anything without Menavati's permission.

Parvati's determination
Parvati agrees to marry Rajkumar Dandak, as proposed by Menavati. Lord Vishnu and Nandi convince Lord Shiva to acknowledge Parvati as his wife. But Menavati asks Parvati to forget Lord Shiva.

Vishnu enlightens Mahadev
Menavati allows Parvati to marry Mahadev. But Mahadev continues to ignore Parvati’s devotion. Narad advises Parvati to transform herself to seek Mahadev’s love. Meanwhile, Sati crosses the river to reach the cremation ground to prove her devotion to Mahadev.

Narad's suggestion
Narad advises Parvati to fast for sixteen consecutive Mondays and to use bel leaves to worship Shiva, instead of fruits and flowers. However Mahadev informs Nandi that he will not let Parvati love him.

Lord Vishnu helps Parvati
Lord Vishnu helps Parvati make a Shivaling. Mahadev challenges her, saying she cannot perform the puja. Narad advises Parvati to proceed to Manasarovar Yatra.

Narand and Nandi help Parvati
Him Naresh helps Parvati reach Manasarovar. Mahadev wants Parvati to perform the rituals by herself. Narad reminds Mahadev of Sati’s existence in Parvati and requests him to be more compassionate to her.

Mahadev's devotee prays Parvati
Parvati wants Mahadev to welcome her to Kailash, but is saddened to find that he is no longer there. Mahadev sticks to his decision even though Narad and Nandi request him to understand Parvati’s devotion to him.

Mahadev saves Parvati
Menavati interrupts Parvati before she finishes the puja. Nagraj Kadru and Vidyunmali hold Naresh hostage. To save her father, Parvati agrees to marry Vidyunmali. Vidyunmali tries to attack Parvati but Mahadev comes to her rescue.

Mahadev's test for Parvati
Tarakasur seeks Shukracharya’s permission to take Vrithasur’s help. Mahadev instructs the Saptarishis to test Parvati by letting crocodiles attack a small boy in front of her.

Mahadev blesses Parvati
Parvati passes the test and the Saptarishis shower her with blessings. Mahadev also appears before her in the form of a devotee to offer his blessings.
