Season 1 Plot
Grahan's story is about the anti-Sikh riots that happened in 1984 when Indira Gandhi was killed. Rishi Ranjan is one of those faces that has played a prominent role in this riot. Almost after 30 years, the case is opened again and SIT is formed in Bokaro. Amrita Singh is made in charge of this SIT committee. Along with investigating officer she goes into the depth of the case and tries to find out who were the people that were involved in those times.

Season 1 Episodes
1. Goonj
In 1984 Bokaro, desperate for his late father’s job, Rishi meets union leader Chunnu. In 2016 Ranchi, City SP Amrita Singh is caught in red tape trying to solve a reporter's murder.
2. Yunhi Prem Ayega
Amrita cannot believe the rioter's identity and confronts her father. Back in 1984, while trying to find a place to live, Rishi meets Manu and is completely smitten by her.
3. Saath Ya Khilaaf
To protect her father, Amrita continues her job and diverts the SIT to Bokaro. Back in 1984, in the midst of rising communal tensions, Rishi begins tutoring Manu.
4. Tehkikaat
In Bokaro, Amrita and Vikas begin their probe into the riots. Meanwhile, Gurusevak gets an unwelcome visitor. Back in 1984, Manu and Rishi face a new challenge in their relationship.
5. Pehchaan
Amrita unravels more unpleasant secrets about her family's past. Back in 1984, Manu's family fixes her marriage, making the lovers desperate.
6. Ardh Satya
Losing a key witness shakes up the investigation, but Vikas goes ahead and confronts a cop who was present during the riots. Back in 1984, Rishi and Manu are all set to elope.
7. Fasaad
The situation worsens for Amrita as her father's past comes to light. However, she discovers what the slain reporter Santosh Jaiswal was up to.
8. Ek Deewana Tha
The trial begins, and the offender accepts his guilt. But, just before the verdict, a last-minute witness takes the stand and reveals what really happened back in 1984.
