Dook sets out to find the ideal partner with whom he can fulfill his desire to have children. Kirsten wants to buy a house together with her boyfriend and a female friend, but finds that doing so in the Netherlands is nearly impossible.

Dook and Kirsten both wish to have children, but they keep running into many obstacles. By talking to other people, they gain new perspectives on their own dreams for the future.
