Spring arrives early, and the lambing on Ellen and Jon's farm turns out to get very serious.
2. Does Jon Have What It Takes?
Jon gives the fields good nutrition from pig manure, which all Brårud is experiencing. Ellen has her hands full with following up on lambs.
3. Can We Create a Cheese Empire?
Jon and Ellen plan to make cheese from goat's milk. This dream takes Jon and Lars to France. The weather is very dry, will the grain at Brårud sprout?
4. The Fight Against Weeds
The weeds are to be controlled without the use of pesticides. New tenants move in, and Ellen is irritated by an unusable chicken coop.
5. Ecology Speaks for Itself
A nervous Jon decides to bring up organic farming at the annual meeting of the Farmers' Association. How will it be received?
6. Can We Handle This?
Jon struggles to find motivation as a farmer as summer approaches. He decides to show his romantic side.
7. High Temperature on the Farm
A difficult situation makes Ellen not want to be a farmer anymore. After a short break from farm life, Jon and Ellen realize that it's best to be two.
8. Activist Jon Almaas
Jon and Audun compete to see who the best vegetable grower is. Jon runs a campaign to champion the organic farmer's cause.
9. New Possibilities
An idea is put into practice: now it's going to be a factory! The grain needs to be harvested, and Jon is dependent on help, but what does he do when Lars has problems with the combine?
10. Food for the People
This year, Ellen and Jon was supposed to produce food for the people and get the accounts to show a profit. Have they succeeded?
