When Denise's mother falls prey to a group of ruthless internet scammers and is driven to despair, she sees no other way out than to end her own life. Disillusioned by the police's inability to intervene, Denise decides to maintain contact with the perpetrators herself. She enlists the help of Kees and his team to uncover the true identity of the criminals. Sheila’s mother has fallen head over heels in love with American country singer George Strait. While Liz still has to serve a year in prison in the Netherlands, she is focusing her attention in Scotland on Robert Jan, a participant in ‘B&B Vol Liefde’. This remarkable turn of events in the investigation sheds new light on her activities and reveals that her practices are now taking place outside the Dutch borders as well. The team's objective is to track her down and bring her to justice so that she can finally serve her sentence.
