Tricia finds new offices for Kinsey and Mabbott. Marion Blakey needs Kinsey's help in a bid to get her husband's life insurance, following his death. He worked undercover for the army and she may get nothing if he died of drug overdose.
2. Comebacks
With Tricia taking all her old clients to Kinsey and Mabbutt, Max Barker serves her a writ stop her to practicing. Danny learns Peter Blakely was a police informant and had been held in custody for 17 hours. Kinsey wants the case reopened.
3. Heads and Tails
Cosmetic manufacturer Bob Stacy needs Kinsey to negotiate with an animal rights activist who wants £500,000 or he will contaminate his products. Val helps Sheila and Roy when a land developer plans to put up an eyesore next to their home.
4. Drop Shot
Kinsey is heading to Spain to pay the ransom for Bob Stacy. Trisha is hot on Kinsey's trail fearing his real intentions are to re-negotiate the amount. Val has no choice but to represent Roy and Sheila in the upcoming planning hearing.
5. The Waste Watchers
Trisha and Max Barker are in front of Judge Critchley as Max attempts to stop her working in a three mile radius of her old practice. It is decided the case should go to trial. Kinsey is hired to help remove travelers from private land.

A former client of Tricia, Pat Nye wants to her to represent him but this would leave her open to poaching clients from Max Barker. Louise asks Kinsey to help Harold Jepson who could lose his farm after acting has his son's guarantor..
