Mahi Talwar, a 25-year-old single woman who does not quite know where she fits in, writes an advice column for a fashion magazine.

Mahi struggles to take her own advice when she responds to a reader concerned that she hasn't yet found her Prince Charming.

Mahi responds to a reader whose upcoming wedding, to a man chosen by her parents, has her wondering if someone better for her is out there. The problem has Mahi recalling the moral of a film she loved as a child.

Mahi is reminded of her childhood by a reader who writes in seeking help in overcoming her shyness. Mahi recognises a lack of confidence, and acknowledges that these kinds of problems are difficult to solve.

Mahi relates her struggles with her weight after receiving a letter from a large woman, tired of letting junk food rule her life, who would like to make a few changes.

After Ishaan Singh proposes dinner at an Italian restaurant with Mahi, she is unable to contain her excitement. A reader asks if the perfect man exists in real life, or only in books and films.

Mahi sits down for dinner with Ishaan Singh, after dispensing advice to a reader who is disappointed after meeting an online flame in real life.

Ankur, Mahi's brother, wakes her early one morning, hoping for her help to keep a recent incident hidden from their parents. Mahi advises a reader who is tired of being judged all the time.

After receiving a letter from a reader who is frustrated that the man she likes won't take things to the next level, Mahi loses herself in anticipation of the moment when Ishaan kisses her for the first time.

The morning after her kiss with Ishaan, Mahi is euphoric, but a leaked photograph of the pair together puts a dampener on both of their moods.

Mahi worries that she and Dev don't know enough about each other, and enquires about a former flame. Her friends voice their concerns about the person she's becoming while with Dev.

Mahi devises a plan to deal with losing both her job and her boyfriend, and her friends grow concerned about Mahi's wellbeing. Determined to pull her out of her slump, they take her away on holiday.

Mahi learns that Shiv will be returning to London, and confesses to him that she was never with Dev. They reconnect over lunch with Mahi's friends, and Roshni considers her upcoming marriage in a new light.

Mahi confesses that she's given up on finding a husband, and her mother sets out to find her one in the next two weeks. As Mahi questions her value, Ishaan appears to speak to her.

Ishaan tells Mahi's family why he wants to marry her, and they give their verdict. Frustrated with Ankur's answer, Mahi confronts her brother.

Ishaan assures Mahi that she isn't competing for his time. Meanwhile, Mahi's sister reveals that she didn't inform the Ms Delhi pageant about her pregnancy.

On the day of Mahi's henna ceremony, spirits are high despite the organisational chaos. Mahi struggles to believe that it's her wedding they're celebrating, and wonders what lies in store for her future with Ishaan.

Mahi continues trying to make sense of her strange feelings over marrying Ishaan. Meanwhile, Jasmine arrives with upsetting news for Mahi, and Mahi is forced to spell out the truth to her.
