The Buccaneers Season 1

Lt. Beamish, just named Governor of New Providence, prepares to welcome the commander of a Spanish galleon. His inexperience and trusting nature make him a good mark for the wily Spaniard, whose visit is not a friendly one.

A raiding party of pirates led by Blackbeard is looting the storehouse of New Providence. They leave behind one teenage lad to cover their retreat. Tempest is frustrated that raids like this can happen and wants Beamish to supply him with weapons to arm his sloop so he can go to sea and take the fight to them. Beamish sees to it and the captured boy is pressed into service as Tempest's cabin boy and they head out to sea to search for Blackbeard.

A crew are at sea in search of Ambergris, better known as whale gold. A substance worth 5 times its weight in gold. When a number of the crew find a deposit on an island things get difficult when they try to hide their find from the rest of the crew.

Three slave's escape and free a slave ship.

Captain Tempest is refused extra gunpowder by the Admiralty.

There is concern that Blackbeard may attack a ship containing female passengers.

A typhus outbreak hits New Providence.

A pirate ship is seen in the waters around New Providence, with a Spanish blockade already in place, Tempest concocts an audacious plan to not only stop the pirate but destroy his ship.

With dwindling supplies the Spanish threaten to sink a ship bearing food and medicines unless Spanish prisoners are released.

Trying to improve trade a merchantmen has a crewman murdered.

While celebrating the kings birthday pirate Clip West raids and steals some of the islands supplies.

Tempest take a prize from another privateer who vows revenge, but is Captain Gentleman Jack what he seems?

Lt. Beamish is arrested by a new governor and Tempest tries to discover the motive behind it.

A Spanish warship attacks the colony and takes Governor Beamish.

After a meeting in a bar Dan is asked to help a stranger named Martin on a treasure hunt.

The crew pick up a stranded sailor who's cargo was taken by the Spanish.

Tempest believes there is a spy aboard after being robbed by notorious pirate Peg Leg.

While delivering tools to a farming community a schoolmistress boards telling of hidden treasure.

Attempting to avoid a pirate known as The Turk Tempest finds a dinghy adrift at sea.
