Wineman - Season 1 (2014)

We will visit the largest vineyard in the World, La Mancha. For decades it has been know for the quantity but not for the quality. So much so that when prices were too low their wines were distilled, becoming a big pool of Brandy. It is true that things have changed dramatically, and we will meet the person who dared to focus into quality instead of quantity. He has inspired many others to produce outstanding wines and we will find in the vineyards the quality factors. His first wines were made with vines that he smuggled from Bordeaux, and he proved that dry hot areas in Spain are capable of producing wines of the highest quality standards.
