Season five of "Project Runway All Stars" wrapped up its run on Thursday night, following a showdown between the top three designers: Ken Laurence, Dom Streater, and Kini Zamora. The trio was tasked with creating an eight-look collection inspired by New York City, in four days' time (yep, you read that right -- only FOUR days). So who reigned supreme?

If you've been following her late-season surge, then it probably came as no surprise that Streater sewed up the win, becoming the first female to claim the "All Stars" crown in the show's history. Though Zamora was the odds-on favorite -- and wowed the judges with a showstopping collection that featured some crazy silhouettes -- he ultimately was no match for Dom and her handpainted prints (particularly that gorgeous, Monet-esque first one). Zamora came in second place, and Laurence came in third.

Entertainment Weekly chatted with Streater following the revelation of her big win, and the designer said she was "super happy and proud" to have clinched the victory. Acknowledging her frustration with flying so low under the radar (and continually winding up in the "safe" group) when the competition first started, Streater said she ultimately had to trust her judgement -- a lesson she learned during her time on season 12 of "Project Runway," which she also won -- and that helped her remain focused throughout the "All Stars" run.

"I thought, 'I'm just going to keep following my gut and keep making things that I'm really proud of and let's just see how the judges react to it,'" the designer told EW. "Eventually, they did react to something enough to keep me on the runway. It validated that idea of sticking to my gut enough that they finally reacted to something that was 100 percent me."

Streater's next production will be a baby (she's eight months along now), but after that, she told EW she'll be "releasing a collection of dresses and caftans" on her website, featuring "really cool new prints." We can't wait to see what this promising designer comes up with next.
