John Williams musical score is magnificent. It made the movie for me. Also, I found the premise that "love" goes on forever as poignant... h a droid as with a human. Love endured. What a lovely movie! Full Review

i saw it a few years ago & i still feel the pain of watching it. this is the saddest, most depressing movie i have ever seen. i sobbed thru most of... t & when it was over, the emptiness i felt from it has never left me. but, sad to say, it is a very important film to see, and i highly recommend it. (it may be easier to watch the 2nd time around). NOT FOR CHILDREN OR DEPRESSED MOTHERS! it has some very disturbing scenes dealing with children. Full Review
