Beautiful movie...
Hmmmm. Creepy.
I guess there is a bit of Darth Vader in all of us.
love it!!!!!!!!
I didn't like it at first but by the second half I was liking it a bit more but when the movie ended I was stomped thinking it actually was a really... good movie you just have to watch the whole thing to really know what's going on. Also, I didn't realize ballerina's often have issues like hers so that storyline puzzled me. Portman has always done a great job with the movies she's done. Loved the Starwars movie she did! Wild and woolly, the movie is a breathtaking head trip that hails from a long tradition of backstage melodramas: "42nd Street," "A Star Is Born," "All About Eve," and, yes, that kitschy '90s relic, "Showgirls."Full Review
To induce a state of dread and mesmerize with beauty is a rare, paradoxical achievement.Full Review
Black Swan is visceral and real even while it's one delirious, phantasmagoric freakout.Full Review
This is, no doubt about it, a tour de force, a work that fully lives up to its director's ambitions.Full Review
A wicked, sexy and ultimately devastating study of a young dancer's all-consuming ambition, Black Swan serves as a fascinating complement to Darren Aronofsky's "The Wrestler," trading the grungy world of a broken-down fighter for the more upscale but no less brutal sphere of professional ballet.Full Review
