Thanks to the redundancy, though, Blood Diamond is dramatically diffuse, and at least 30 minutes too long. Thanks to Mr. DiCaprio's raffishly dashing soldier of fortune, the movie is worth watching all the same. show more

Excellent movie. This brings to light so many of the injustices seen by the people of Africa. The portrayal of child soldiers is sad, but true. I would recommend this movie to anyone who wants to be enlightened by the goings on and abuse of the African people.
