  • Want to know what it's like to be in on the discovery of a new American classic. Check out Boyhood. Richard Linklater's coming-of-age tale is the best movie of the year, a four-star game-changer that earns its place in the cultural time capsule. show more

  • I'm as reluctant to stop writing about this movie as I was to stop watching it: At 166 minutes, it flies by, and you don't want to leave that world. But one thing is certain: This isn't the last word. People will be writing about this film for years - and looking at it to discover the lost history of our time. show more

  • One of the most extraordinary films in decades, this family drama is also one of the most ambitious in scope, having taken more than a decade to shoot. Yet it comes across as effortless and unassuming. Boyhood is an epic masterpiece that seems wholly unconcerned with trying to be one. show more

Simply put It Sucked. It was so bad I asked my wife if she wanted to leave early in the show but we decided to stay. The movie was so predictable I could have stood up and given a dialogue of my own. I go to alot of flicks and know a good movie when I see one and believe me you this movie was BAD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Maybe the critics were simply impressed that it was a film shot over eleven years. No matter how long it takes to make a movie, you still need a compelling story line and a protagonist that makes you want to root for him. Neither was a true about this movie.

This was such an unusual movie...that was also enjoyable. First time a movie allowed you to see the characters actually growup. They all did an amazing job and while it was never lost my interest. Truly a good experience! Go see it!
