A real window into the era's more's and beliefs. The acting was incredible and the motivation was "spot" on. Movies of this type are rare and that is unfortunate.

I actually really enjoyed it. An intelligent watcher might enjoy the subtly in the themes presented. Worth a watch and an open mind.
Saw the movie today---If you like a homosexual theme; I f you like alcoholism; bashing of religious belief systems;poorly paced movies; and a family that puts all on a guilt trip---You will love this ... movie. The cinematography, however, was superlative.Wayne Full Review
