  • In a way, the new Carrie is almost too easy to enjoy. Everything discordant and all the nagging weirdness and strange feelings surrounding the original have been smoothed down, and what we're left with is a well-made, highly satisfying and not particularly deep high school revenge movie. show more

  • Rather than offering new blood, Carrie is a purely cosmetic revamp. show more

  • If you're going to take another stab at this tale of a taunted, traumatized teen who exacts fiery revenge on, well, everyone, then Kimberly Peirce is the director to do it. show more

The worst remake of Carrie ever! Overall the original Carrie really implemented the troubled life of Carrie both at home and in school. In the end of the original it was a tremendous outcome that was well deserved. This ending and movie just sucked!

Just a better version of the old, but the same thing, just some new actors. If you have allot of movies you want to watch I would not put it at the top of your list....

Of course, the younger generation always likes remakes better. Younger people never relate to the originals as much because they didn\'t grow up in the time period in which those movies came out; also, the original Carrie has a hauntingly beautiful soundtrack, which younger people don\'t relate to.
