In a summer filled to the brim with superheroes and sequels, it's been a long, cryptic lead-up for J.J. Abrams' latest, especially considering its unconventional (and kinda brilliant) viral marketing campaign. After months spent sifting through trailers,...
'Super 8' hits theaters June 10, and the viral marketing campaigns for it have been spinning like mad. Director J.J. Abrams loves a good viral campaign and is probably one of the few directors who actually thinks about it as he's constructing the initial...
January is widely known as the worst month for movies. While you're busy trying to catch up on the best of the best before awards season, the studios unload their crap. This past January we got garbage like 'Leap Year,' 'Crazy on the Outside' and 'The Spy...

I do not think Toho Studios have to worry about this monster picture replacing Godzilla, as it has none of the entertainment nor the imagination that a Godzilla movie has. You can watch a Godzilla mo... vie and enjoy it, it had something to offer. This movie does not. It comes from the looser who gave as Atlas and Lost TV shows, they must have been lost in the clouds or on drugs when they wrote this screenplay. There is no acting in it either, Looks like they cast people who could not even make it in Daytime Television soaps. It only makes me see how good the 60's Godzilla movies really are. Full Review
Saw this movie recently and can just say "DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME!!!" It was the most horrific mashup of popular monster movies I have ever seen. It should really be titled "Monster Movie" so people k... now it's a parody and a piece of crap. More or less "Godzilla but from the collateral damage's view of things and not the usual Hero/Heroine's perspective. If you wonder what it was like for the bystanders when "Monster Movie X" was produced here's your movie. This movie contains all the things one expects of a monster movie and borrows shamefully from so many other movies it is not even funny. The only thing that could be seen as "good" with it is the ending that is so perplexing that one does not really understand it is finally over until the credits start to roll. Also it leaves more questions than answers which might be good if you like that sort of thing. I personally hate it and that was one more thing that pulled down the review rating. Well done if one wants to milk out another movie and create a franchise. So this is exactly why I give it just ONE star. Full Review
I really thought it was good. Also like with the monsters in it. I wasn't scared of it at all. I didn't really get to finish it.
7/5/08Just rented the dvd. Bored from beginning to end. No explnation on this monster showing up. Hated the idea of the camera, A dissapointment.
