Absolutely love this movie. Never get tired of watching it. One of my two favorites of all time.

One of the most heart-rending stories of friendship and undyng devotion in a small town in Georgia in the early 20th century. From a point of view of a Georgia native, this is a valid description of Southern values and love among people of all ages, sexes, races, and perhaps even sexual orientation though that is definitely not what is a dominant factor.
