    Joe Morgenstern Wall Street Journal

Adam Green's Frozen explores a tiny idea exhaustively, and I mean exhaustively. show more

  • 25
    David Hiltbrand Philadelphia Inquirer

If you actually sit through this enervating ordeal, you'll swear that time is Frozen. show more

Joe Neumaier New York Daily News

Frozen is good for five minutes of "What would you do if?" games. Then it's just stiff as a board. show more

  • 70
    James Greenberg The Hollywood Reporter

Frozen delivers enough thrills and gory chills to satisfy the horror film crowd, but is not written, directed or acted well enough to be a first-rate thriller. show more

    Rex Reed New York Observer

The best kind of horror film, about innocent people plunged into mind-boggling circumstances beyond their control. show more

  • 63
    Michael Phillips Chicago Tribune

The film moves along, in its paradoxically static way, at a pretty fair clip. I look forward to Green's follow-up. show more

    Ty Burr Boston Globe

An effective, no-frills gruel-a-thon if that’s your cup of Swiss Miss, and it explores such burning questions as: What happens if you’re dumb enough to leave your bare hand on a metal safety bar overnight? show more

Stephen Cole The Globe and Mail (Toronto)

Frozen would get props for a novel plot, except that its storyline appears to be ski-lifted from the "Curb Your Enthusiasm" episode where Larry is stuck on a chairlift with an Orthodox Jewish woman who is terrified of being seen with a man after sunset. show more

    Lou Lumenick New York Post

Relies far too much on an overdose of gore and a pack of hungry wolves to deliver its chills. show more

Joshua Rothkopf Time Out New York

Better to defrost "Alive" or "The Edge" from the video icebox. show more

This movie doesn\'t suck! I had to pause it a few times to calm down because my heart was pounding so hard that it hurt!

The budget for this movie must have been 200 bucks they never left the ski lift. What a low budget flick. I feel like I was robbed out of the $17.00 dollars I paid for this. I had to watch it to feel like i got my moneys worth, I sure did I got laughed at by my wife for buying another dumb film. Please save your money.

crap. from start to finish. the only reason i saw it was the curiosity factor. i wanted to see how they could turn sitting on a chairlift for a couple of days interesting. they couldn't. the only way it could've generated more interest would've been if it was a true story. remember 'into the wild'?

Before watching this movie I wanted to go snowboarding but after what happened in this movie makes me wonder about the people that work there. Yikes! Don't go on the lift before they close! As far as this being scary...not really! More painful than scary or suspenseful...Beware of frost bite!
