Plot Summary
Sam Wheat (Patrick Swayze) is a banker, Molly Jensen (Demi Moore) is an artist, and the two are madly in love. However, when Sam is murdered by friend and corrupt business partner Carl Bruner (Tony Goldwyn) over a shady business deal, he is left to roam the earth as a powerless spirit. When he learns of Carl's betrayal, Sam must seek the help of psychic Oda Mae Brown (Whoopi Goldberg) to set things right and protect Molly from Carl and his goons.

    In Ghost, a viewer finds Comfort,and a sense of Hope; Molly Jensen(Moore) and her boyfriend Sam Wheat (Swayze) shine in this drama. Sam finds out his friend and co-worker Carl (Goldwyn) scams him. When Carl arranges to rob Sam, it gets fouled up and this thug WIlly kills our innocent hero. Oda Mae (Goldberg) is the local seer who finds a bargain in Sam. She can only hear him, but is riotous in this fim. Sam tries to use Oda & reach a warning to Molly, and the laughs are hysterrical to see. The ending is heartwarming, as Sam is exhonerated and finds his road to the "pearly Gates". WIlly and Carl get their "reward" and are where slimeballs go.
