What a horrendous waste of talent. Garbage story, garbage dialog, ridiculous finale. Streep and Jones must have been in dire need of $$$ to agree to doing this piece of drech. No stars at all for this one.
Two very talented actors, give very real performance of married life that has ********** spark.

Rather than plunge into the murky marital waters of ambivalence and power struggle, the film bobs on the surface. No one would ever mistake David Frankel's dramedy of sexual healing for Ingmar Bergman's psychologically astute "Scenes From a Marriage." Full Review

It's about as uncomfortable as sitting through an interminable counseling session - involving two people you hardly know and don't much care about. Full Review
